New Zealand Schools/Ngā Kura o Aotearoa: A Report on the Compulsory Schools Sector in New Zealand is one of the Minister of Education’s most important publications each year. In it, the Minister reports to Parliament and to the education sector on progress in the compulsory education system for the year.

In 2005, the Ministry of Education contracted Lift Education to edit and manage the publication of the Schools Sector Report.  Working with Ministry staff, a design company, a photographer, an indexer and a printer, Lift Education ensured that the report was published each year on time and in budget, to the stringently high standards required for a publication of this type.
