Between 2010 and 2019, we developed multi-media resources for teaching and learning gagana Tokelau, lea Faka-Tonga, New Zealand Sign Language, and vagahau Niue in Years 7–10 and New Zealand Māori in English-medium Years 1–6 settings.
A feature of the Years 7–10 multi-media resource kits is the way they support teachers who may not be of Pacific heritage to get involved in teaching Pacific languages.
In November 2019, during Tokelau Language Week, the Ministry of Education launched the latest set of resources in the series, six storybooks in gagana Tokelau together with teacher support material.
